Play4TheCure Summer Series 2018

The Play4TheCure team is excited to take our fundraising activities on the road this Spring and Summer as we visit minor league baseball teams around Maryland and Virginia! Our partnership with Minor League Baseball (MiLB) was initiated by one of our motivated youth ambassadors, Ally Minker. Minker partnered with Carolina League teams in 2016 as a way to honor her late-grandfather who was an avid MiLB supporter.

Play4TheCure Summer Series Keys First Pitch

Since Ally’s fundraising efforts the partnership has expanded to include local Maryland and Virginia Minor League Baseball teams. This Summer we’ll be at four different games raising money for cancer research and awareness for our sport fundraising program, Play4TheCure. Members from the Play4TheCure and NFCR team will be at all the games, to meet and greet with anyone interested in learning more about our initiatives.
