Donor Testimonial: Victoria Crawford Trusts in NFCR
Victoria Crawford has been a longtime supporter of the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR).
Having first been introduced to NFCR through her involvement with the annual Daffodils & Diamonds Fundraiser, Victoria’s connection with NFCR has grown over the years. From her zest for learning about new advancements in treating cancer to a strong level of trust in NFCR as a research charity that, as she puts it, “is unlike many others in the level of transparency shown regarding ‘where the money goes’ each year from the generous patrons of the Daffodils and Diamonds event.”
Trust is an important word for NFCR, so we are delighted that our transparency is visible to our donors.

We will continue to share these details so that we can both inform and educate our supporters about “where” and “what” specifically is associated with gifts to the foundation.
A cancer survivor herself, but also one of many in her family who has suffered from the disease, Victoria has a connection with NFCR that is similar to many other supporters.
NFCR research gives hope for the future: that cancer can be detected earlier, treated effectively, and ultimately cured. Research holds the keys to how this disease will be defeated.
One aspect of NFCR that drives Victoria’s desire to stay involved is our consistent sharing of research updates. Whether through speakers at the annual event she attends or online resources and newsletters sharing updates, she is constantly amazed by how far we’ve advanced against this disease and encouraged by the meaningful progress we’re making.
From all of us at NFCR, thank you, Victoria, for your trust in us and support of the research we will continue to fund to help make cures possible.
