Tyngsborough High School Boys Basketball

Students Natalie Barros, Megan Barulli, Casey Butler and Stephanie Souza hosted a Play4TheCure fundraiser at the boys’ basketball game on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. To raise awareness and funds, organizers (1) distributed iPlay4 signs to honor those affected by cancer; (2) collected spare change and donations during homeroom; (3) hosted a bake sale and concessions stand which included homemade sweets and pizzas donated by a local pizza shop; and (4) designed and sold custom bracelets and t-shirts. Most notably, the students organized a “Chuck-a-Duck” contest. In this contest, game-attendees could purchase a rubber duck for $1 then, at half-time, attempt to throw the rubber duck into a bucket on the basketball court. Through their hard-work and dedication, Natalie, Megan, Casey and Stephanie raised over $430. Thank you, ladies!
