NFCR funds research that fosters a cooperative, multi-disciplinary approach to discovering the root causes of cancer.  Our researchers are at the top of their fields, and our blue-ribbon steering committee selects only the most promising.

We have built a science program that now involves nearly 50 top research laboratories in the U.S. and other countries around the world. NFCR-funded scientists are currently conducting cutting-edge research on all major types of cancer and leading the way in many critical research areas.

We are not accepting research proposals at this time.  In June 2010, we will begin accepting nominations for the 2010 Szent-Györgyi Prize for Progress in Cancer Research. Click here to learn more.
